Accessibility Services

Website accessibility means your site works for people who don’t browse the way you do. Someone using a screen reader. Someone navigating by keyboard because they can’t use a mouse. Someone with low vision who needs real contrast to read your text. When a site ignores them, they leave, and most owners never find out it happened.

The standard is WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, Level AA. That’s what courts, procurement departments and accessibility advocates point to, and it’s the benchmark we work against. It covers things like text contrast, descriptive alternative text on images, labels on every form field, a visible focus indicator when tabbing, heading structure that reflects how the page is actually organized, and the ability to complete any task on the site without a mouse.

What we check. We test your live site the way an assistive technology user would, not just with an automated scanner. Automated tools catch roughly a third of real issues. The rest take a person tabbing through your pages and listening to what a screen reader announces. You get a plain-English report: what’s failing, which pages, why it matters, and what it takes to fix.

What we fix. We remediate the pages themselves inside Wix and Wix Studio. Alt text written for what the image actually conveys. Contrast corrected without wrecking your brand colors. Form fields properly labeled. Heading levels set to match the page structure instead of the font size. Keyboard focus that’s visible and in a sensible order. Link text that means something out of context.

We don’t install overlay widgets. The accessibility plugins that promise one-line compliance have a poor reputation among the people they claim to help, and businesses using them have still faced complaints. We fix the underlying pages instead. It takes longer and it actually works.

Who this is for. Any business whose customers include older adults, anyone serving the public, anyone selling to government or education, and any site owner who’d rather find problems themselves than hear about them from a demand letter. If you’ve received a complaint already, tell us and we’ll prioritize accordingly.

Where to start. Send us your web address and we’ll run a check at no charge and tell you honestly what we find. If it’s clean, we’ll say so. If it isn’t, you’ll get the list whether or not you hire us.
